That's the one thing missing from PC2. Being able to have consistent driver names so you can run a championship on your own. It's so frustrating. It'd be amazing if someone could come up with this. Must be doable for those with the technical know how, surely?

it's possible





if you are doing a championship, just create a pack to install for everyone. All participants will see their names and their cars personalize.

I think I came up with a solution for this one: Reboot your computer, open custom grid tool and set it up as you normally would and then launch PCars2 via steam in Oculus Rift mode. DO NOT open Oculus Home by any means before launching the game! This worked for me. Unfortunately you'll have to restart the computer again once you left the game and decide to run it again. A bit impractical but better than nothing.

Classic late-1980s BTCC(no Mercedes & Nissans).

1998 GT1 LM & GTO(early 1990s GTO cars).
Blancpain GT3(no Ginettas & Renaults).
European Le Mans Series 2019(no open- cockpit LMP2 cars or Mareks & RWDs)
Vintage 1960's Le Mans.
WEC + GTE(LMPH only no Mareks & RWDs).
LMP900 + GTO(late 1990s GTO cars)
1988-89 WSPC(no Le Mans-spec cars, real liveries).
1988-89 WEC Le Mans(no non-Le Mans-spec prototypes).

Can someone help me get this mod to work? I moved the grid tool folder to my PC2 directory and ran the jsmge tool and nothing works.

In case anyone wants to help, I moved the latest version of Custom grid tool to the main directory Steamapps> common > Project cars 2> Mods. Enabled the mod in JSGME, copied the shortcut for grid tool in main directory, click on it and get this message "the code execution cannot proceed because msvcr100.dll was not found. Reinstalling program may fix this problem."

*edit* NVM super easy fix. Was missing microsoft c++ 2010 on my computer. That's what the error code tells you if you search it
