It would really help us and you to keep track of the important topics if you would create a forum for dedicated server, so that the server admins can exchange experiences and discuss settings etc. and could help each other easily.
I am mostly interested to keep track of the whole dedicated server discussion and issues but the "Multiplayer" forum is flooded with advertisements for racing events and senseless discussions about the rating feature and other personal feelings. Nothing that I want to read at all. A guy that wants to race online multiplayer mostly has no interest in reading discussions about sms_rotate, Flags or other topics about administration tasks.
Bug reports:
The other, more important point for me, is to create a forum for "bug reports" maybe with stronger rules to avoid offtopic discussions. Maybe a kind of moderated forum where you have to unlock the topics first before they are visible if you like to. Just to keep track of the important messages and to avoid that people flooding the topic with senseless and endless discussions.
I want to take a look in the bug report forum and want to check if a specific problem that occured for me already was reported. If not I would try to create a post with a detailled description of the issue. My expectation is that someone of SMS looks regulary at this forum, checks the reports and if they are new to the dev team or not. If they are new you could maybe change the title of the topic to "[checking] The name of the topic" and/or to "[Known Bug] Name of the topic" to make clear SMS got this on the radar and will working on it when it is on top of the priority list. It would nice to make a little post like "Got this on the radar, could reproduce the issue and will trying to fix with the next patch".
For now it is very difficult to check if an issue already was reported or something like this because of the very mixed contents being discussed in the multiplayer forum.
Thanks for reading this. I am looking forward to your reply.
