Project Cars (2) and Steam Link with ffb wheel?

I bought a Steam Link as a move in gift for my friend and would like to hear from anyone who has had some experience with it?

Will he be able to use his ffb wheel when sitting in front of his tv or will he have to drag his pc into the living room?

Thing is I got it for $1 so I didn't even think about any wheel issues, but if it works, I know he will love it.

Thanks for your suggestion. I would have preferred not to go down the 3rd party route, but I won't complain.

Steamlink adds latency. Even if the wheel works, the display lag will most likely be too high for a good racing experience.
