You have a lot of alternatives in using a trainer:

    1. Select a trainer from the orange Trainer Box
    2. Train with the ghost of Time Trial
    3. Train with an online member in multiplayer
    4. Train with an AI in an offline race
    5. Use your previous recorded laps as trainer reference.
    6. Record an AI of your choice (Track/car combo) and use that AI as trainer.

Currently only the trainer from the Trainer Box (1) and your recorded laps/AI (5, 6) have all details of telemetry data available (shared memory restriction).

Is there a way to record/review ghost cars? I can get it to work on the live screen but its kinda hard to see anything while you are driving on tt. I want to do what you can do with your own laps/ai trainers but i did not find a way.

You can record ghost data with the following steps:
    1. Race Trainer: Please select <Race Mode> and the option <AI-Ghost-MP>.
    2. pCARS: Choose in Time Trial a track and add the ghost you want to race.
    3. pCARS: Race some laps in Time Trial mode.

=> the gost is recorded and you can analyze the ghost in replay mode or you can use the recorded ghost as trainer for your next race sessions.

Unfortunately we have the following restriction with the current API:
    • Only Raceline and Time is available for ghosts and members from online/offline race.

I know that's a big obstacle for Race Trainer, but this gap can be filled with recorded trainer laps. In these laps all needed telemetry data are
    available.

An example for Brno and RUF RGT 8 (Laps from radyz/ghost and pock1910/recorded by Race Trainer):
    Attachment 217570

Unzip the file into the folder <TrackData/RaceLine>. Use these laps as Trainer reference and you see the huge difference.

Achilles' heel of Pock Racer Trainer:
It would be great if the fast guys/real racers use Pock Race Trainer for providing useful trainer laps. Unfortunately, this is currently not the case.

Learning from the Best - Raceline Study

At the current community-event (Brno - McLaren P1) lollygag it the fastest racer and I was on 156 position. After recording and analyzing lollygag's raceline I can improve my position to 86.

A picture is worth a thousand words:

I have just downloaded this app and have done a few quick laps of Sakitto GP circuit and it looks to be fantastic. I managed to record some laps and play them back and I've had no performance issues with it at all.

Will post more feed back when I have used the app more, and I'm just going to post a link to it on our web site as more people need to see this!

    GREAT WORK

    @SpeedDog, @Querty:

I have a question: What culture do you use on your PC?

Your laps are uploaded, but the filename has not the correct name and I get an error if I use your laps as reference trainer.

    @itsatrap:

Your recorded laps work fine as reference trainer on my system.

    Thanks for testing!!

    @[UKCD] members:

Can you please zip and upload some of your raced laps from the Folder <TrackData\RaceLine>?

This would be really helpful for me in finding a bug with the automatic lap upload.

    Monitoring of Races and Replays

Currently I am working on a monitoring feature for Race Trainer. You see all members on track during a race or replay.

It will also work for replay after a finished race. It is possible to jump to different racers during the replay and so you can analyze crashes or driving behaviour of different racers.

You can zoom in/out or select your track perspective. Here a screenshot from replaying a race at Nordschleife:
