[FIXED patch 4.0.1] PS4 Patch 4.00 Error code (CE-34878-0) every time

Now since downloading the latest patch 4.00 on my PS4 Pro i have not even been able to get past the Fun Pack into screen because i get a error code (CE-34878-0) every time. I took the steps of rebuilding my Database that didn't work, so i deleted it and reinstalled the game and that also didn't work so i'm stuck with a game i can't even play. So not only am i missing out on the patch i am literally missing out on the whole game. Now i'm a Arsenal fan so i have built up a tolerance for BS, but this just beyond a joke to be honest.

I've already missed my AOR evaluation race so i'm just really annoyed we need some solutions or answers please.

What PS4 (Standard or Pro) and what version of the system software are you on?

If everyone with this problem posts the above info it might help identify the problem.

I got the same problem. The game keeps crashing every time I start it. Always at the same time. And we are not the only one with that issue.

I'm on the PRO, how do you find out what system software your on.

Normal Ps4. I am using Project CARS 2 on a disk. I reinstalled the game, deleted everything and tried it on my second account. My team mate has the same issue on his Ps4 Pro and a download version of Project CARS 2.

Yep i did exactly the same mate and the same thing happend. I have the disk version also and i'm pretty sure a had a system software update the other day which was 5.05.

I reinstalled version 5.05 to be 100% sure and it keeps crashing. The game works OFFLINE.
