I put this in the setup forum thinking maybe it was a good start. Picked up a new wheel/pedals and instantly picked up .5-.8 secs per lap. A couple setup tweeks and i'm a full sec faster most places in a p2 and GTE car. But i'm finding I now can't string 2 laps together in most any GT3 without spinning, snap oversteer off on throttle. Any ideas on things I could change?

Hey, maybe you could mention which wheel and pedals you have and if you are using any of the Custom FFB files such as Jack Spade's or Christian's.

Went from a logitech g920 to a thrustmaster tmx. Still working on ffb but have some that feel pretty good. Have picked up speed everywhere, lock up much less, just keep spinning gt3s

Or maybe you simply turn the wheel too much, thus causing forced understeer which then becomes snap oversteer once you get off the throttle?

I'm really not sure. I had no problems on the old wheel. New wheel i'm fast fast, thinking just because of the pedals, just not in the gt3. I'll just keep on driving and trying.

just go for an earlier braking point, slower entry and therefore faster exit.

I'd double check that the steering lock in game and the rotation of your steering wheel match up, so that a 90deg turn of your wheel results in a 90deg turn in game. I have mine set up for 540deg of rotation and sometimes PC2 will 'misremember' my wheel settings, so that when I start the game it steers too much or too little, resulting in odd handling. A quick wheel recalibration sorts it, but it can cause the behaviour you describe.

You could also try the Ferrari, it's very forgiving. If that spins out a lot theres something definitely wrong. Also make sure your traction control is set to your liking.

Ferrari GT3 is prone to understeer in my experience
