Has another patch been released yet that fixes this problem? Haven't tried the game in a while, and to be honest I don't fancy starting doing the championship again just to find that it still says I need DLC that I already have. Did a patch fix this specific issue? Cheers
The last patch for this game was last year sometime. Don't remember when (last car pack release). There won't be no more either. SMS have released all patches they were going to do.Originally Posted by Retro_uk

To my knowledge though, there haven't been any reports of careers lost since then...

This issue has not been solved. I have all the DLC and this bug occurred at least four times in the last month while working through the GT3 series using the McLaren.
I lost progress once, which was very annoying. On the subsequent occasions, as soon as the notification came up that DLC content was missing, I turned off the Xbox and then reloaded the game (pressing the Xbox button and loading another games also works), once PC2 loaded my career progress was in place and I could carry on. Still a pain, but less than starting again.
It is frustrating that SMS have stopped supporting this game when there are still some fairly major bugs. It’s seems a strange decision given they are hoping to sell the next version of the game to largely the same user base.
Same issue GT3 world series finished 4th race at SUGO and now have to start over really disappointing
I will not be buying Project cars 3 which is unfortunate...I really enjoy PC2 until I just lost 15 hours of racing progress
I even purchased the season pass and now I guess I'm going to move on to ACC.
I would like a refund if SMS doesn't support.
I will start a ticket today.
