Hello all,

I am going to attempt to help as many as I can with a great feeling car via your Thrustmaster TX wheel.
This will take some time as there are many cars. I'll work requests before any random cars I pick.

I should mention that I do not have any of the dlc for xbox. Can't help with those cars, sorry.

Some notes prior to any sharing. I have the Thrustmaster TX LE. I'm on firmware v53. I also have had the fan set to always on since I've owned the wheel.

Caster plays a huge role in the weight of the wheel. Typically, you'll reduce 2 clicks on volume for every click of caster you add, and the opposite for every click you reduce. Camber and steering ratio play a role as well. Not as significant unless the changes are relatively extreme. All FFB were created using the default "loose" set-up.

Regardless of the tire you use, you need to run enough laps to obtain the proper heat to feel the FB at its fullest potential.

You change your wheel settings per car???

Only the volume. If it's too heavy, you can't feel the wheel dynamically adjust through turns or over hills. The same as when it's too light in addition to not being able to feel when you're at the edge of your grip.

Edit: I use the "raw" setting. Per car isn't as necessary if you use "informative" or "immersive". Both of those have an auto adjustment to reduce clipping.

What settings would you suggest for the AUDI R8 GT3? I use this in league races but the car has little to no feel. The steering wheel is too light and I don't overly feel tires, road or curbs.

I have the Xbox 1x so there shouldn't be any issues with my system but I also have never updated my wheel as I don't own a PC only have Mac maybe this could be causing it?

Also I will say most cars don't feel right with the setting I use:

RAW
Gain: 90
Volume: 60
Tone 45
FX 65

Racing online the wheel is ok but when we get about 5-10 laps in the wheel becomes very very light with little FFB.

Nice one SimGirl. My initial request(s) would be for the Indycar and the Lotus 25 Climax. The Indycar both on ovals and road courses would be great if possible btw

I am playing on the PC and also the Xbox One X and have found that the feel of the TX is very from one platform to the other. On PC I am running the stock RAW settings 100, 50, 50, 50 and haven't felt anything particularly wrong with that - it seems very smooth (as it also does in RaceRoom, RFactor 2, Assetto Corsa on PC). On Xbox I can't find anything anywhere near as smooth. I tried your settings from the other thread, and they were much better than I was running, but it still feels notchy. I was running the V51 firmware but have now applied the V53 firmware, but not much difference.

I would love some settings for the LMP's.

Are you using this for your configuration?

This is not meant to cause offense, but do you have a good tune? I only ask because I often find people run more camber than needed and that is the only time I've personally felt the notchy feeling.
