I'm looking forward to that DLC, but the Patch alone is 13gb!
Feedback on possible Career mode changes; wet/dry AI still seems imbalanced at 100/100. For example, Manufacturer Drive, Ginetta GT3, Snett 300: light rain practice I'm 1.5s slower, rain qualie I'm 4.5s faster, light rain race same pace as fastest AI cars. Admittedly this is only early days but was certainly hoping for this to be improved.
More AI rain pace testing: Clios at Brands Hatch Indy. At AI 85, I had the same pace as AI both in wet and dry, if I compared best lap times. But, and I think this have been overlooked a bit and is a big part of the AI rain pace problem: after a few laps, the AI slows down considerably. Brands Hatch Indy is a very short track, and AI lost 3 seconds per lap (!) after 5-6 laps. Me otoh could do the same lap times all day long (potentially, if I made no mistakes).
Why do the AI lose so much speed? Sure, track gets a bit wetter, but I'm not nearly as affected by that.

My issues were all with the Connectivity and netcode. I play zero career or single player. Almost all of my playing is in some form of multiplayer.
This game was totally non-functional for me. If I COULD get into a game, I would be booted within a few seconds after launch, and hitting the track. I did the cache and blue ray dance, that wasn’t the issue.
The initial game worked, and the pitches up through 1.4 were great. As soon as 1.4 came out, mine, and all mine, and of my friend’s games were suddenly fubar, and haven’t worked since.
So... can anybody with similar issues confirm that these issues have been fixed?

Be good to hear more impressions from people on patch 7 , I won’t get to try it until Saturday
Went to start up Project Cars 2 this morning and it gives me a message that it needs a 13 GB update. Is there any significant info that SMS can give us on this?
