Project Cars 1 VR

Hi,

Recently I started playing Project Cars 1 in VR in the SteamVR platform. My problem is that when I try to run the game in monitor view, I see no image. A minimized dialog box of the game running appears on system tray, but I cannot maximize it. The game now only runs, very well, in VR mode.
Has anybody experienced this? Can anybody tell me how to fix it?

It's been awhile, but there is a Window option in settings. Wish I could tell you exactly, but I'm just going from memory.
