I do understand the comparison with PC2 but it is an other game but happens to have the same engine.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree....
But in this case the tree is on a hill and the apple rolled far down the hill, decomposed, seeds sprouted and a new tree was grown

If it's the amount of content that you're searching for in AMS2, I think you will never like it. But if you're looking for a much better implementation of the Madness engine with way less bugs and a lot better overall quality you might like it.
I haven't found the cars a pleasure to drive. They are way harder to drive compared to the Real World counterpart. To be absolutely honest its sim racing physics (hard=realistic) and not comparable to real driving physics.

Ex: Cold tires and brakes act like they have been frozen in Antarctica.

Ex: I can drive through grass cutting across medians in a real vehicle. But sim physics, I would sit in a near neverending spin on grass like it's ice. AMS2 grass had grass like ice.

That's my honest thoughts, but if that's what floats your boat. Then go with it.

Thanks, will do. It's all personal perception I guess, for me, after racing for a couple months in AMS2, when I tried to go back a bit to PCARS2 (in which I have more than 3,000 hours played), most of the cars' behavior felt very silly now, at least most of them (with the Clio and the 720R being notable exceptions). Never had any trouble with cold tires or cold brakes or driving on the grass in AMS2, although obviously I do not try driving on it at 100 km/h in slick tires. Mind you though, I hadn't been using AMS2 before the start of this year, and I know that earlier than that AMS2 indeed had lots of problems. Anyway, if you feel PCARS2 is more enjoyable/feels more realistic to you, of course you'd better stick with it. Whatever makes everybody happy!

Ive seen your Camaro clips, and tested the Camaro myself last night to compare my feelings to those clips, probably best you go and retest in the latest version of AMS2

Slightly improved, but still nowhere in this earth compared to driving the real vehicle. It's still a definite no from me.

There are some really good cars in AMS2, don't judge the whole game just on one car. There is a lot to enjoy and the game has picked up criticism from 'hardcore simracers' as being too easy and too planted, so it may be closer to what you are looking for in a sim than you think. I barely drive the Camaro so I can't comment on that one.

I absolutely love AMS2. Only thing keeping me from completely replacing PC2 is it doesn't have all cars and tracks form PC2. On the other hand it has it's own unique ones. And given the choice between ACC an AMS2 I'd pick the latter each and every time. Yes ACC is deeper in some ways, but it's a two trick(class) pony which frankly bored me to bits with the GT3 server overload in PC2 already. Hence it's been untouched the last few months(unlike AMS2, PC2, PC3 , AC(modding!), and rFactor 2 and guilty pleasure Wreckfest)
