I just hope Reiza can implement their fantastic physics and ffb properly and not be stuck using SMS stuff! I imagine they can otherwise they probably wouldn't have used this engine. This should boad well for pC3 also. Reiza seem like the best and most patient dev team of all, with what they managed out of the old rF engine just imagine for about 7 months of the magic we have coming!

pcars2 FFB is no problem. pcars2 real problem is compromise. It's a departure from the real simulation

People are already angry about it in RD and in socials, worrying about the super real physics engine from 2005. Haha, amazing. This is gonna be mad in the future for both Reiza and SMS.

I thought the RD posts looked fairly upbeat. I have been looking forward to a new title using recent technology and from what I read automobilista get praise for their efforts so will definitely keep this on my watchlist

Well can you please tell me what settings you recommend ! I have your file in and trying the Caterham 620 around Brands in both AMS and pC2 and ,well the problem with pC2 FFB is quite evident !!
Unless there is some magic tweak im missing and Reiza can do something (im sure they can) AMS 2 with pC2 FFB will be sad
They make a brilliant job with an ancient engine, so I expect they can extract all the juice of Madness engine and make a great product. Also using Madness engine will allow them launching the product in consoles, that could help to make it more profitable.
The best part for me is that Reiza are long term support products, so the road will be long, but we will feel a constant progress. This colaboration will we also very positive for SMS not only in terms of incomings. I.E. I suppose you notice the track that appears on the video is Interlagos, at last!!!. Apart of the license terms, the tracks could be shared beetween them reducing costs of development.

It's mainly because Project CARS is the game the community as a whole loves to hate. Mostly because of the "my game is superior to all" factions.
Am I an outsider when I say that I love Pcars despite its flaws?
But I will keep an eye on the new Automobilista of course.. you never can have enough race games.
