"Technichnly18" was hosting the room... I start off and leave him waaaaaaayyy back, put 18 seconds on him in the first lap. Then it starts raining and he almost reals me in over the next 6 laps (he must have started on wets. The only other driver in the race pitted to get wets, while I stayed on slicks and just hoped it would be enough) I take the win and chalk it up to me not paying attention to the forecast.

So, back to the room, now there is no practice or qual, but hey, at least the forecast is Dry>>>Dry (sunny, actually)
He goes straight to the race and I'm gridded DFL, oh well, I'll just race for it.
Race starts and I have to do a sudden lane change to avoid running him over (how did I do that?)...and it starts RAINING by turn 3 !?!?!?! ...oh, that's why I launched so much better than him...wets...
I didn't have a whole lap this time to create a big enough cushion and I ended up loosing by two seconds.

Anyway, I won't be running in any room he's hosting again.
    So I figured this out^

The forecast only shows two slots but apparently the host can populate more than what is shown to other racers in the room and thus HIDE a weather slot. This is a total scam, not a bug, and "Technichnly18" is an @$$hole.

Speaking of which, we can add "leoval 99" to the list. -Just had a race where he was camping and crashing people. (He got ghosted trying to ram me head on..troll fail haha) He also jumped on the first red and managed to make it to the front of the pack by the time the green lit up and rear-ended me hard/ Luckily only engine damage was on and he basically put me 6 car-lengths in front of everyone else before T1.

Haha, I think I will never understand what's the point in setting the lobby up and waste time just to ruin other people's game. Should be an instant automatic deinstall of the game. Going to suggest this in the PC3 wish list thread ^^

I just don't get how people who are interested enough in motorsport to spend money on a sim would do things like that. Yesterday I was in a fantastic lobby which was doing 5 min quali + 10 min race in DoningtonNnational in KTMs, over and over again. The fun was immense, there was some sliding, going sideways, many positions changes, intense racing. Then a slow guy started ramming people who were lapping him. Not enough people kicked him, he kept doing it. Frontrunners tried to be clever, we bunched behind him and tried to sneak past, but that only worked sometimes. Ultimately people quit and a great lobby was destroyed.

Does anyone know if there is a way to pull driver screen names from the game while you are playing on a software level. I'm no programmer, but it would be nice to get an automatic warning from a third-party app that runs in the background and then alerts you if a screen name in the lobby matches a list that you manually update as needed.

Yes, it's very easy to get that info from the telemetry that the game provides. Only "problem" is building the GUI for the app.
