Now they left WEC and IMSA is afraid that they'll be leaving that championship as well. Just speculating ofc.The advantage was so clear, the BMWs were on another level. Of course Tandy and Bamber fighting a bit towards the end of the race didn't help with catching the BMW but even if they had not fought they wouldn't have been able to catch up.
    Risi were complaining as well last year, and I was actually surprised to see them again among the entries because they actually said they were leaving IMSA for continuously getting bad BoP's.

    NASCAR needs to figure something out here. The Busch Clash was a Busch Disaster.

    18 of 18 entrants crashed. 18 of 18 cars need at least a rebuild if not written off.

    The pot: Around a million dollars.
    The estimated cost of the wrecked cars alone (aside from track crews and the teams having to work on them or ship in new backups): 4mil 950thou.

    This isn't anywhere close to sustainable, even if it does just happen on plate tracks.

    Now we get this madness Thursday and Sunday or we get the single file line of death for 4 hours. Nobody wins, here.


    Looking forward to buying the Erik Jones Clash Winner diecast though.

    More from Scuderia Glickenhaus. This time with the successor of the SCG 003C, the 004C which will be competing in the NLS (former VLN) and the N24 in SPX class with a possible GT3 homologation in the future. Looks and sounds really awesome!

    I reckon McLaughlin made this decision last year after all the crap he got for the Bathurst controversy. As a driver he did nothing wrong and yet fans and even some drivers directed their anger towards him instead of the team that made the decisions, after that I think he had had enough and decided to fully pursue the Indycar dream.

    Yeah, shame to see them withdraw their involvement with the sport after only a few years or so. But i suppose they've now ticked that box so to speak..

    It'll be interesting to see if DJR are still front runners next year, without Penske on their side.
