So this happened today.
One of our most iconic steam trains, the 3801, went for a trip across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Apparently this was supposed to happen back in March to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the bridge's opening, but constant heavy rain and flooding in some areas prevented that.

I did some impromptu trainspotting on Friday.
Boss and i were in the city, filming some talks and voxpops for a company who were having an 11th birthday function. It was in a building at Everleigh, which is where the rail workshop and maintenance centre is located.
And this was parked outside on display.

No idea what it is, as there was no signage to indicate. But a quick internet search just now tells me it's a steam crane. Maintenance building is the one in the background of the first image.
