Logitech G29 wheel and pedals not working on PS4

Hi Can anyone help identifying why my PS4 doesn't see the G29 wheel of Project Cars 2?
It works OK with other games

Put it in Ps4 mode (switch on top of wheel).
Start the Ps4 with the button on the console.
Press PS button on wheel after start up.
Use the wheel to select and start pcars2 game.
Calibrate as per on screen instructions (ignore the numbers displayed).
Race.
