Thanks. Things going get worse atm. Looks like my wife is infected as well. She belongs to a risico group as she has a couple of chronic conditions. Although she is in her 40's, so perhaps she just is a couple of days sick and that's all.
The bad story is going to look like a horror story.

But we are far off topic here..

My thoughts are with you, Olijke. I hope she will recover from it before you know it.
I guess now you are in quarantine it is only a matter of time before you catch it too, if you don't have it already.

So you think hiding yourself from the facts will change anything? Better face matters head on considering the circumstances and make sure you have everything at your disposal to take care of yourself and family.
Even those people who are treating patients in hospital still have a chance contracting the disease, and they have more means at their disposal than we do in our homes.

What it boils down to is the difference between sympathy and empathy, and I don't think sympathy alone will help him through these extremely difficult and challenging times.

The best advice i can give is hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
And for you, keep washing your hands regularly and both wear masks. Your wife's one is the important one because a mask is more useful to the one who cought Covid19 as to not spread it.

Good lord Olijke, life really knows how to stick the knife in when you've been kicked to the floor already . Can only wish a speedy recovery for your wife and hope she's one of the vast majority that "only displays mild symptoms"

Yeah I think we all have it atm. Let’s hope the symptoms will stay mild. Myself I do not fear it. Ok I’m 52 but healthy (as far as I know) and I will survive, my wife is an other story. So I really really hope she only will suffer mildly.

Thanks. ATM we are just very sick. The discomfort is high. We’re both feeling sick and every joint is hurting. Paracetamol gives some alleviation luckily. Father in law still lives but without food, without water and with a high dose of morphine. We expected he would passed away earlier today. Apparently he is stronger then we thought he is.
