Can anyone here tell me how long after PC2 came out that PC1 no longer had an online?

Or can you still play PC1 online in multiplayer?

I'm a little worried about PC3's new direction, it's early days yet but the new trailers look like a radical SHIFT in direction (Looks like SHIFT 3, not PCARS3!), and I just wondered what the likely window of active PSN support would likely be...

Just found out PC1 PSN servers still work!

That’s amazing support for a 3 year defunct game.

The GT5/6 server window was 6 months, the GT6/GTS window was 12 months (because of the need for a new console, I guess). 3 whole years is fantastic.

Let’s pray the Codemasters sale doesn’t change this practice.

PC1 & PC2 are peer 2 peer games. There are no servers like Gran Turismo so there is nothing for SMS to shutdown or keep running for that matter.

But connection is still contingent on being a PS+ subscriber, and I thought that access to that was still licensed by Sony, isn’t it?

GT5/6 was also peer to peer for the public lobby system, right? Yet got shut down by PD. I’m a bit confused here...
