Formula X World Championship - My Pit Stop vs AI Pit Stop?

Hey everyone.


I've been playing the Formula X Championship in career mode, where there's 1 mandatory pit stop.

I find that even after I set my pit strategy to change only tires, even cars that pit after me get out in front. It's also strange that the leading AI pit on the penultimate or last lap and still stay ahead.

A little confused, as I qualify on pole and pit from 1st, then end up like 5th. The AI are on 90%.

Anyone else come across this?

in my experience, you can generally expect your pit stops to be faster since you can get in and out of the pit lane much, much quicker. so its possible they're not changing tires - perhaps its possible to drive more conservatively so you won't have to change tires when you box?

The game (when I tested and reviewed career) has random mechanical pit repairs included in formula x whether you like it or not. I declared the series broken because of this and uploaded a YouTube video demonstrating the problem. The problem is that whatever you program into your pit stop in fx the game will assign you random extra repair time (even tho none actually exist) from 0-30 or so seconds. This of course will totally ruin the race you're in and possibly the whole series if you're running high ai like I was.
The only solution is to keep restarting the race until you get a fair pit stop or just lower the ai to zero to make up for to. Like I said, broken, sadly.

Thanks for that insight. I also saw the video. That's why your guide goes all the way up to Formula A, but not Formula X

Just had a race at Nurburgring leading 15/16 laps, pitting on the last one without even changing tires or fueling, and dropping down to 10th. Same situation occurred at Monaco.

Now after getting feedback from someone else at least I know it's not on me! Guess I just have to drop AI down from 85 or keep going through the series just for fun.
