Logitech McLaren G Challenge '20

Not much info in the forum about this competition but I comment it for if someone is interested.
It has started in June with a weekly timetrial where the winner of each week gets access to the Online Quarter Finals.
Season 1 has finished and now we are in Season 2 with still 4 timetrials left, so there are still 4 places avaliable for the next round.
Winners of the Quarter finals and wildcards, will advance to the regional final.

The wildcards get the place in local competitions, and is what is about the original post, now edited to add this information for people that don't know about this event.

Last Tuesday I went to the Spain & Portugal final of the Logitech G Challenge.
It was in McLaren Barcelona where we could see (and listen) fabulous cars and an impressive museum.
We received a personalized T-shirt, a covid mask, a McLaren cup and a Logitech G29, and the winner of the event a wildcard for the regional finals.
Sadly the competition was with PS4 and I couldn’t do a decent job, but the experience was incredible.

Haha, yes it was an amazing experience. The other guys was pro drivers and with the PS4 handicap I was 2" of my usual lap times.
BTW I don't know why you are not doing the timetrials for the european finals. I've got my place for the quarterfinals and knowing your pace won't be very hard for you.

Oh, come on, nothing to be ashamed about, you should be very proud of being in such competitions, no matter the end result. Post a couple or them videos, otherwise I will search for them myself and will post only the ones that might seem embarrassing for you

Regarding myself, unfortunately at the moment I cannot put more than a few minutes every week into racing, due to a health issue. Hopefully there will be another competition in the future and I will give you some more competition as in the past!

Was this the regional final from season 1 that just finished? I "secured a position in the regional quarter final" for North America, but didn't expect to hear anything until after season two ended. (And I haven't heard a word)

This event was the Spain & Portugal finals after 3 timetrials events last month (different to regional Season 1). The winner of this event, got a wildcard for the regional finals.
The rest of us can get the place in Season 1 and Seasson 2 timetrials for the quarterfinals (an online race). The qualifiers of this online race(s) advances to the regional finals with mentioned wildcards.
Yeah, it's a bit confusing...

Yeah, was a very interesting competition. Don't understand how it has not been given more publicity.

Obviusly Lando is cruising because I was 2" faster in Ruapuna i.e. http://cars2-stats-steam.wmdportal.c...ent?event=1692

The TimeTrials ended this week and I got the win in Season 2. Next round will be an online race in Silvestone, but rivals there are aliens (Nade, Wolf, JK, Khaki...).
