VR issue

I'm starting this thread because there are some questions that need answering to be able to track the VR issue...
So anyone who encounters that issue could you please provide us with the following info:

- Do you have these issues when you're not using the wheel as well?

- can you please provide us with your dxdiag and graphics settings?

I never tried it without my CSW 2.5 so I can't answer that question. On the latest Nvidia driver and Pcars 3 patch for PC.

Any other questions you have I would be happy to test and or try.

I have a 1080ti and 10700k but can not seem to get above 40fps in vr with all settings lowered. I can get around 90 on average with everything maxed out at 4k without vr. And my VR performance is poor with and without my thrustmaster wheel. I have no issues in pcars 2 in regard to vr performance.

To clarify, this is specifically about the hard crashes in VR when clicking race whilst on the starting grid.

Myself I have the issue when using my G27 wheel with my index. I have not been able to replicate when using an xbox controller with my index.

Regarding the crash on clicking Race issue, I have just tested it a few times, and like Hookman above, the game does not crash if I change control type to Gamepad.

My wheel is a Simucube 1.

Would my DXdiag and GFX settings still help?

I got a crash again on the start grid at Sugo. When this happens the bugsplash-report utility spawns up and I always fill it up. Do these contain enough information or should I send dxdiag and other details separately?

I got a second crash at Sugo when I tried all settings at low, including the textures, shadows, grass and particles, but this time it was when I was exiting the track.

Quite interestingly the lowest settings ran in PCARS3 much worse than PCARS2 "medium, medium, high, ultra, shadows at medium, and rest at max" setup. Something is really horribly wrong, and I hope it is just hardware combination specific. If it is not, not even RTX 3090 will make PCARS3 playable in VR. (I'm going to find out when they become available.)
