Anyone else excited for Project Cars 2 on Series X?

Being a huge fan of Pcars 1 and watching Chris Goodwins Pcars 2 trailer a hundred times and reading every post here in anticipation of Pcars 2, I pre-ordered the Deluxe edition of Pcars 2 and was disappointed and felt cheated like most of you on OG Xbox one / One S due to the handling issue. Hence I gave up on the game and didn't even buy it on my PC because I felt SMS didn't deserve my money twice for the way they treated customers.

They got what they deserved with Pcars 3. The worst part is some people here suggesting it was our fault for playing it on OG Xbox one and not the One X.

Anyways, I have pre-ordered the Series X and I might finally enjoy the game I pre-ordered 3 years back. It's like a new release for me.

Does Enhanced Graphics mode preset on oneX have a Resolution ceiling of 4k?

Turns out it does not:

This Graphical Bias comes with three options.
The first is GRAPHICSBIAS_ENHANCEDVISUALS which effectively allows for 1440p (2560×1440) with all shadows, track and vehicles, and rear-view mirror details set to as high as possible.
The second option, GRAPHICSBIAS_ENHANCEDRESOLUTION, expands the resolution to 3K (2880×1620) and automatically balances the details to compensate for the big increase in resolution. Both these options may dip into the dynamic scaling a little more than the final and third Graphical Bias option,
GRAPHICSBIAS_ENHANCEDFRAMERATE, which is in 1080p with all settings using dynamic scaling to ensure the framerate remains at 60 fps as much as possible.

would be nice to have the Resolution caps removed and let DRS do the work if it can't hit 4k, not asking for a huge amount of effort to be put into it, just a little bit of time to remove these caps would be very much appreciated by a lot of people i suspect

Took delivery of my Series S today, installed PC2 and it's like a different game (I was playing on an original day one Xbox One). Full grid of cars, no funny handling/FFB issues, AI drivers actually react properly, really quick load times and the upscaling makes it look a lot sharper. The best £250 I've spent in a while.

And its a new game with series X....my good, as soon has i got home that was the game i wanna try fist, and belive me, its like playing in hi top end PC, sooo smouth i that i cant explain..,,
An example is, when we are qualifying or racing and people join the lobby and left and the breaks? forget it, NOT ANY MORE..me and my friends allways thought this was a connection problem, but the truth is, those consoles (xbox ps4) cant handle the game.....
With visials enhamced in options, every thing in the maximum and the game doesnt blink....its so smooth and sharp...its a new game guys

I decided to give a second life to PCars 2 with the Series X.
The game is now running perfectly.

It's a joy, racing at night with rain and thunderstorms, against 31 other cars.

I'm playing with "Enhanced resolution" 3K(2880×1620).
I've tried with "Enhanced visuals (1440p), but so far I'm preferring the "clarity" of the image with the Enhanced Resolution.

FPS are locked at 60fps. no drops whatsoever.

After the deception with ACC, I'm glad I've returned to PCars 2.
