Alter cockpit view

Help/advice please
Is there anyway I can alter my cockpit view? Using thrustmaster TMX wheel... I've tried re mapping button configuration but it's not saving my settings, I've even tried with controller but that doesn't work...I need to get closer to the dashboard as I seem to be sitting miles away!
I also have no race engineer! or is he only available on pc?

Move the seat up.

Maybe try a USB keyboard, it certainly works on PS4, then you can use WASD to get the seat right.

Therein lies the problem...I can't configure the seat adjustments buttons to my TMX wheel (Xbox one s)

Thanks John....was hoping to adjust seat through my wheel, game won't let me configure the buttons to my wheel, even tried with the controller (and then re plugin the wheel) but that doesn't work ��

I've only played on PC and PS4 but I'm sure Xbox got keyboard support, so you could try it
