Mirror in HUD

Is there a way to cycle through the HUD and have one be the mirror only?

I should think if you pause the race, go into options>edit HUD layout, you should be able to turn off everything except the mirror, so it will be then available when you scroll through the HUDs with the D-pad. Not tried that exact thing myself, but I think it would work.
