Logitech G29 Not Working With Project Cars 2 on PS4 Pro

Firstly apologies if this has been covered numerous times already! For some reason the help read doesn’t seem to work for my instance.

Project Cars 2 version 7.10 installed on the PS4 Pro. Logitech G29 works fine with my other racing games like Grid & Gran Turismo Sport.

If I start up my PS4 Pro using the button on the console it’ll start the wheel calibration and then when I press the PS button on the wheel itself and log in as me I can navigate on the PS4 Home Screen without any issues. When I click on Project Cars 2 to start the application and then get to the X Start Engine page nothing happens when I press X using the wheel (even though I started the game using the X on the wheel).

I’ve also tried to use the dual shock controller to start the game and when I get past the X start engine screen if I turn the wheel on and log in it’ll let me navigate the screens on Project Cars 2, however, it won’t let me go onto options and select wheel. For some reason it thinks the wheel is the dual shock controller.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

i have the same problem
i can use the buttons on my logitech g29 but cars 2 will not reconoise the wheel in the options - control section

so logitech how do i get my Project cars 2 on ps5 to work with youre Logitech G29
