Post Issues with controlling and steering the cars

So hello to everyone. I recently bought Project Cars 2 with all of its DLC packs. Itís been a couple of days but I still canít get used to the steering in-game. Coming from Gran Turismo 5 and 6 which in my opinion had equally easy and realistic controls, this game is on the contrary. Iím playing on the PS4 Slim with a controller. I tried many setups, a lot of changes and nothing seemed to improve itself. My biggest issue is turning on straights (usually I hit the barriers, the car feels irresponsive and just canít turn at all) and breaking from high speeds. Iím desperate, any advices would be appreciated!

Personally I find the default speed sensitivity in the controller settings to be too high - try changing it to 75 (or 80 for some cars, if 75 is a bit twitchy).

    Steering Deadzone 7
    Steering Sensitivity 70
    Throttle Deadzone 10
    Throttle Sensitivity 70
    Brake Deadzone/Sensitivity - 10/70

    Are those settings optimal?

Ultimately optimal is whatever works for you.

    My settings:

    Steering Deadzone/Sensitivity: 7/17
    Throttle Deadzone/Sensitivity: 10/30
    Brake Deadzone/Sensitivity: 10/75
Clutch Deadzone/Sensitivity: 10/25 (Irrelevant to me, auto clutch user)
    Speed Sensitivity: 75
    Controller Damping: 67
    Controller Vibration: 50 (Personal preference)

I've bolded Speed Sensitivity because for me it's the single most important setting. 75 is normally the sweet spot, but depending on the car I sometimes go down to 70 or up to 80. Everything else hasn't been touched since, well, I can't remember. As far as I can remember these were the defaults at launch, and I've only messed with speed sensitivity.
