Great to hear although I'm wary of accessory and shipping costs. There was also a Simagic M10 wheel to compare to. It'll also be interesting to see how well they work when ckamped to a regular (but strong) computer desk.

I think it won't be more than a sidegrade or a tiny upgrade at best.
Still very happy with my CSW 2.5 here with no intention to replace it, unless there'll be a CSW DD at a similar price point.

Yeah, just watched a vid on YT. He said, don’t expect a Full blown DD wheel for €350. It will be a CSW v2.5 similar wheel base.
I think he is right. Will see what they have to say once it is released. I’m very happy with my CSW v2.5 as well. Only I still want a new round Rim with quick release.
Just drove some race laps in. GT1 Mercedes on Bathurst in AMS2 and that was a lot of fun..

Well there goes my CSW V2.5. I just wanted to order an extra one. Now I have to order a DD when it will be released. Lol.
Just kidding, my CSW is still a wonderful piece of enginering.

My upgrade path for wheels went logitec g920, csw2.5, dd2. The difference between the g920 and the csw was huge but the step from csw to dd2 was smaller. The csw added lots of things I couldn't feel with the g920, the dd2 added drama and bit more differentiation over the csw and no clipping, I hated the clipping.
The csw feels very similar to the dd2 with the torque turned down so I wouldn't expect the new wheel to be better than the csw for feels. The reduction in width of the new wheel is a plus and I suspect it will cost less to make than the csw and be even more reliable.
