That could indicate that there is a threshold (e.g. in resolution) above which frame drops start occurring, meaning that there is some bottleneck, either in the game or in your config.

    Wondering whether @Olijke Poffer also experiences frame drops running triples, or that it's 'just' low frame rates?
    Frame drops indeed. Not just a steady lower frame rate.

    It seems Olijke suffers similar drops as me....

    And I guess it's more difficult to see on a single screen whether they also occur?

    I haven’t noticed indeed. Will keep an eye on it next time.
    By the way, it is not difficult as I have a FPS counter running on my tablet (used as dashboard).
    That said, I don’t think it show this FPS behaviour on a single screen as I really see the hiccups on my screen when the FPS drops. I don’t know if this has to do with my setup or screens but it is very annoying. I talked about it with a friend and he tells me he does not notice on his system when there are frame drops. He does not notice any hiccups

    That's just a long shot but you guys could try the following:

    1. Search the .exe file of PCARS 3.
    2. Right click -> Properties
    3. Compatibility -> Tick "Disable Full-screen Optimisations"

    That's what helped me getting rid of stuttering in many games (especially ACC).

    you can see the straight line in ACC and 16.6ms while pC3 shows the line all messy and even though it shows 60fps the frame time is 15.2 ms.

    What method do you use to limit fps to 60?
    Vsync? Driver? MSI Afterburner?

    Maybe you should try it directly in the driver instead?
