That's neat. Didn't know SMP was gonna be in the game. My home track, lol.

We have some good race tracks over here. More of them need to be featured in mainstream racing games. I know there's a few of ours in pc games like iRacing etc, but most console games usually just have Bathurst, and that's the Australian portion filled.

SMP was also in the previous Grid 2019 game, so it makes sense to be in the new one as well. Btw, Automobilista 2 also has Adelaide, brilliant track/circuit! And it features even a historic version of it, together with the modern version!

Gotta wait and see reviews comparing the handling of GRID 2019 and Legends. I do love a good story mode as a cheesy reason to keep coming back to a racing game. Codies always nails the presentation of their games.

I do, and I remember being a fan of Surfers Paradise which unfortunately hasn't been in any game for a long time.

It's Codies that introduced me to Aussie tracks outside of whatever was in an F1 game at the time. Codies are responsible for my love affair with Bathurst, thanks to the Race Driver games.

I know what I'm going to get with this game, a big bucket of cheese with some scripted "let the rookie win" races to start, before the real meat of the game opens up. I'll learn to hate - HATE I tell thee!! - Ravenwest all over again, and want to wipe the smile off Nathan McKane's face. Again. And I'll want to avoid all the e-car, drift and truck races if I can, focussing on what I enjoy. I will laugh as I snatch pole coming out of the last corner of a 3-lap race, I will cry as I spin on the last corner of a 3-lap race. And I will spend one too many hours of a night "just unlocking the next race", all over again. God I miss the first time I played GRID.
