Fanatec CSL Elite not detected on Project Cars 2 (PlayStation 5)

I have read a few posts where others have had problems with their CSL Elite with Project Cars 2 on a Windows PC setup, but I am having the same issue that it is not recognised on PlayStation 5.

I have tried the Compatibility Mode but it still doesn’t work. I am able to use the buttons on the steering to navigate and select in the game, but it’s not detected in the controller menu and neither the steering or the pedals work.

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

If the power light is green, then your base is in xbox mode and you need to use the mode button on the base to switch it to PC mode. (The power light should be red when it's in PC mode)

Of course, the PC should "detect" it either way, but when green the PC thinks it's an xbox controller.

Also make sure you have installed the Fanatec drivers. Unlike most other stuff, windows 10 doesn't just go get good drivers for the base...particularly if it thinks it's an xbox controller.

Edit* Did you get the Play Station version or xbox version?

Thanks a lot for the response. However, I am having the issues getting the game (Project Cars 2) to recognise it on PlayStation5 and the CSL Elite I have is PlayStation version.

No issues on other PS games like GranTurismo or F1 2020/2021.
