I've rediscovered Grid Autosport (2014 version) which plays incredibly well on the Deck. Many of the same tracks as the other Grid titles, but they are a bit more toned down in terms of balloons and fireworks etc, so it's a bit more of a simmy atmosphere but with forgiving handling perfect for the Deck. Being ten years old it belts along nicely at 60fps with very impressive graphics. It's a lot of fun rummaging through the back catalogue finding gems that suit the special nature of the SD.

Check your 2022 Replay's gents:

Mine has 57% of my gaming time in 2022 was on my Steam Deck. I played (really tried) 150 games on my Steam Deck verse 16 on my PC. I knew the Steam Deck was something I really valued but the data really backs that up.![]()

Mine is 100% Deck pretty much, and only from Xmas.
Not been gaming much this year at all. Hope to now I can do it from the sofa though.
God I'm getting old![]()

Had a weird one last night.
Was playing away, finished Arkham Knight (main story), then played a bit of Gravel (I love a bit of arcade offroad action).
After returning to my library and just general fiddling I noticed some white/pale grey marks on the screen about 1/4" square, towards the top right.
Stayed there regard less of the screen, was still there in Desktop mode. Rebooted and still there.
Okay screen is dying perhaps ....
This morning all is fine. Went through what I played last night and to cut a long story short, the timer during a race in Gravel with its fast changing numbers, in a night race so dark background seems to be causing a temporary burn-in type issue.
Luckily you can turn off that element in the HUD, but might be something to be aware of. Never come across it before.

Hmmm!
I haven't noticed that in any of my games, but I don't have Gravel. Now that you reminded me about that title, that's something that looks like would be fun on the Steam Deck, I just wishlisted it (again) and will look for a sale.![]()

I did a bit of a google and came across something about image retention IIRC can happen on IPS panels, something about rapidly flickering images...
Didn't really understand it but seems quite a common thing including on SteamDeck but apparently it's not permanent and will go after a while.
Never heard of it before, you live and learn.
Yep Gravel is a bit of arcade fun, and cheap these days too.

Yes, image persistence/retention can be thing but it's never permanent. I haven't heard/read about it being a problem with the Steam Deck.
