Good article, interesting. PC4 looks like it will be born after all
Does 'current gen only' mean PS4 or PS5?

PC4 is likely some ways off but I can confirm that PC2 on the XSX and the PS5 (has been confirmed by the Sony tribe) runs like it was supposed to in the first place. Many other games also look and run better on the newer hardware, surprised me how noticeable it was going from the old X1X to the new XSX. The PS4 obviously suffered less than XBox of course but the improvements would still be there. If you can find one and swing it it's not a bad investment. You can certainly do better with a PC but not for less money. At least you have time to look for a PS5 or PC, anyway.

It will be a shame for folks stuck on the older consoles for sure, but PC2 and 3 really did push the old hardware to its limits so for me, I'd say it's probably for the best to move on and make the best use of the new consoles rather than limiting it to let the older stuff keep up.
At least the newer consoles are slowly getting easier to get hold of I guess but demand still seems to be outweighing the supply.

We don’t know when PC4 releases, a bit early to discuss about the hardware required.
The current consoles are certainly good machines, but I still can’t accept to pay for playing online.
looks like i got my current gen pc rebuild done just in time cant wait hopefully its as good as pc2 was
