I'm curious about this.
Having lusted for Fanatec, and loving my trusty old G29, I like the proposition of a Logitech DD.

I was interested until I saw the price. With the pedals, it's going to be nearly £1300 and that makes it a very tough sell IMHO. Hopefully the price will come down and Logitech release more wheels for it, which should help it shift some units.
PC Setup : Intel Core i9-9900K w/Noctua NH-D15 Black cooler // MSI RTX 3080 Suprim X GPU // Gigabyte z370 Aorus Gaming 7 motherboard // 2 x 8GB Kingston HyperX DDR4-2666MHz RAM // Corsair RM850i 850W PSU // Windows 10 64-bit // Fractal Design Define R4 case w/5 cooling fans // Acer Predator X34P 34" IPS 3440x1440 100Hz //
Ye au$1500 for the wheel + $600 for the pedal set is a big ask.
Costs way more than Fanatec DD bundles now just based off RRP on their homepage.
Fanatec gear looks the biz too. But Fanatec's reputation for after-sales support and delivery times are the big turn off for me.

It's going to take a LONG time before I buy another Logitech gaming device. Regardless of how good the hardware is, their QA in software is beyond terrible. They also like to deprecate products with no notice.

I'm a console pleb. Still.
But I did have a quick crack at r3e on a pc. Had to download g-hub and all that jazz. It's a bit clunky.
My little old G29 is still going strong after 6 years and if that (almost) plug-play and compatibility is there, it's tempting.
Not likely that the DD is compatible with ps4 or pcars2. I wouldn't want to buy the wheel then have it get dusty while I upgrade everything else.
Might just stick with a csl for the trouble!

Update on the pedals, the extra elastomers actually do improve the load cell brake feeling after swapping them

ill stick with my g29 unit still going strong for what i use it for cant see the cost
still use a controller 75% of the time for project cars 2 and get more wheel use on ats(american truck simulator) where its perfect for that use
wish i could afford a fanatec and several wheels though but just got my pc almost where i want it just need two ssd hard drives and a m2 hard drive to finish it off for the time being
